West Essex Community Voices Panel

The Community Voices Panel is a group of people who want to make a difference to how health and care services are run in west Essex.

Organisations including the NHS, Essex County Council, district councils and voluntary services in west Essex work together with the panel to make life better for everyone and adding your voice could really make a difference.

Anyone aged over 18, across all age groups and from all backgrounds and cultures is welcome to join the panel and could help shape services we use every day such as:

  • Cancer services

  • Maternity and childrens’ services

  • Mental health services

  • How housing, education and employment play a part in overall health and wellbeing

  • Lifestyle

  • Urgent care

You might be a parent, or planning to become one, living with a disability or long- term condition, such as diabetes or a carer for a family member. The more diverse experience we can bring together, and draw from, the better the outcome in the services we are aiming to deliver.

If you are not a regular user of health and care services we still want to hear from you. Your feedback is just as important.

Ways you can be involved include:

  • Taking part in questionnaires and surveys

  • Joining virtual meetings

  • Joining a focus panel on a specific project

  • Face to face meetings once or twice a year

  • Sharing information with your community and getting feedback

You can be involved as much or as little as you wish. Complete our short questionnaire to let us know which topics you are interested in and we will make sure we keep you updated on how you can get involved.

We have many ways to stay in touch with you, you do not need use technology if you don’t have it or don’t want to. We can provide information in different formats, such as large print, easy read and audio file. Just ask.
