Some background information about the event:

This year’s “Fight Cancer with Hope Conference” in association with “One Step at a Time” was held at the BMAT College in Harlow, on Wednesday, 29th September 2021.

The event was created by cancer patients for those on their own cancer journey.

We had a fantastic turnout with a mix of attendees including:

  • Cancer patients

  • Those caring for a loved one with cancer

  • Anyone who has been touched by cancer in some way

  • Colleagues working in a cancer profession

What happened at the event:

  • We heard from cancer patients, who shared their own stories, journeys and experiences

  • We received the latest advice and guidance presented by cancer health professionals live on stage

  • Our attendees took part in interactive Q&A sessions

  • There were a selection of pop up stands provided by local cancer services and support groups
