Cancer & COVID

Why?

Since the pandemic, we have noticed that less people in our west Essex communities are coming forward for routine screenings or visiting their GPs with early cancer symptoms.

We want to highlight this, because we are concerned that COVID-19 might be discouraging some of you coming forward.

Our "One Step at a Time" team have produced this useful and informative video.  Told through the eyes of a cancer patient, it explains their experience of attending their hospital appointment during COVID-19.

When?

We have all been impacted by COVID-19 in some way, we can reassure you, that when it comes to cancer, we are still operating all of our usual health services and cancer treatments.

Therefore, if you need to speak to your GP about any symptoms or concerns, please contact them as soon as possible.
